I have had it for 2 weeks now, I have to say that there is nothing that compares to this, 144 Refresh is amazing! Playing the Witcher 3, Shadow of the tomb raider, Fallout 4, Battlefield 5 is Gaming Nirvana. However....LG Just Delivered nVidia GSync on their 2019 OLED TV's. at up to 1/3rd the price of this Monster. The C9 has 4 HDMI 2.1 Ports but there is no Video Card the puts out HDMI 2.1 to allow you to get 4K@120htz, so it boils down to this... if you want 4K at 120/144 htz NOW the PG65UQ is for you at almost $5000 after tax. Or you can get a 65" LG C9 for $2099 and put up with 4K@60htz and wait for a video card that can output HDMI 2.1also keep in mind that th PG65UQ is a pure gaming monitor, NOT a smart TV, so you will be missing all the apps. and furthermore, if you want immersive sound while gaming at 4K 144 htz you wont be able to get it via the display port cable, you will need to connect your sound system directly to your AUX ports on your computer. I will be returning my PG65UQ at the end of January, in hopes they will reduce the price by then, if they don't I will be ordering the LG C9.

This monitor is great for gaming. The native 120 Hz refresh rate will sync nice with the new 3000 series GPU's.The specs. for this monitor says it can draw a whopping 700 watts from the wall overclocked at 144 Hz.I find for normal desktop use it draws 200-250 watts. My only gripe, is the speakers are a little anemic, when sitting 6-8 feet away, I find the volume needs to be turned all the way up. I remedied this issue with a soundbar. This monitor is a 81 Lbs. beast, If your thinking of wall mounting it, make shore it can handle the weight.I think Its still a great chose for gaming, although more expensive than some of the new 120 Hz tv's with HDMI 2.0.

Updated.. ASUS wan to repair unit with possible repair costs. I spent 5k for a new TV. Not a repaired TV. Absolutely ridiculous. I've been an ASUS customer for years spending at least 10k over the past few years. Their fiasco just cost them my business. DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR.overall picture is outstanding. Unit I received has 2 white dots that show through some colors. Working with ASUS on possible claim/ return.. well see what happens. With the price as high as this monitor it should be FLAWLESS. =/

I usually don't do reviews. But this beast of a monitor deserves proper credit. I was using a Samsung 55" on HDMI, gaming using a 2080 TI. The best that the monitor could do (and any HDMI currently is 60hz). Upgrading to this i have noticed many times brighter display and crisp text. The 144hz using display port makes it a totally different gaming experience.Keep in mind you will need to sit a little further away. For me 5 ft from eyeball to screen is perfect to see everything.Well worth the wait and the money.UPDATE: 1/3/2020 - (Does not change the 5 star for me):- Power consumption for this monitor is 700 watts (see link below) vs. other smaller monitors that do 60 - 65 watts.https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model-power-consumption/d3cd1b46- The monitor has internal cooling fans that you can hear.
