Gives plenty of wattage for that 20% buffer needed too and had no issues with it after 2 years now, and the high-quality components say it can even last more than 10 years if you're lucky

To start off. The pictures do not do this beastly thing justice. The shell ROG chose to use is really aesthetically pleasing and feels thicker and more solid than 99% of the power supplies I’ve touched (veteran pc repair shop tech) and the cables that they included that were braided bend really well, and look good when combed with the combs they come with. I use this in my main test bench pc for like gpu testing cpu testing motherboard testing because having the wattage readout has came in WAY handier than you would think as a repairman. I can tell if parts aren’t working correctly just based on there power draw. Sounds crazy but when you’ve seen what I’ve seen it’s one less thing I have to worry about having on hand when it’s literally built into my bench. But I was building and testing with a 7950x and a 4090, and me and the boss were skeptical, but this psu powered both, it probably could do this for a while but I do not recommend this for that. My modest 5700x with a 6950xt will happily sit right dead at 50% load on this thing when gaming heavy titles. Which is where this thing GLEAMS. 92.6 percent efficient, just a note, that’s almost in titanium efficiency territory. Damn fine work ROG. Had one at the shop so I bought a second for my rig lol. Do not buy if the price isn’t sub 150 i say as seasonic offers some for cheaper than that. And this is just a heavily modded seasonic power supply.

I bought this power supply 2 years ago... 850 Platinum... still works great today... it has an LED read-out.. and made by a reputable company so you can expect it to be a little more expensive... but it's a great product... if you don't want the LED read-out you can always get a $70 power supply that's rated Gold... but if you're building a computer that you want to be 100% confident in, this power supply will not disappoint.

I've professionally worked electronics and IT for over 35 years and this is one of the the best PSUs I've seen to date. I've yet to even tax this beast! Love the display and RGB! It is definitely overkill and with my RTX 3060 Ti and i9 9900K, water pump radiator fans, case fans, M.2, 2 SSDs, 1 HHD backup and RGB everywhere, it's coasting at a low 81 watts on this gaming rig. Normal gaming, I can't even get over 120 watts. Stress testing my new GPU got up to 140 watts and it's still quietly coasting. Don't get me wrong; it's very expensive. But I've replaced numerous PSUs over the years most only have a 90 day to 1 year warranty. With a 10 year full replacement warranty, how can you go wrong? What product do you know of has a 10 year warranty?!?
