I bought this was a quick easy install into my Asus, Asus-D415MT-PC. Why there are many models of boards I like to give a reference when I can. This is heavy about twice my stock, which was 250W peak 300w. Comes with allot of connections for dual CPR, and dual Graphic cards. The cables on this are not port attached, some have plugs this is pre-wired, which is OK, but I knew that when bought it my case has easy storage for cables to tuck in and not be in the way.Pro:Simply design and install.Good cables not flimsygood rail specs.Good price.Cons :None reallyOverview, I could not find any cons, so far it installed in 5 minutes and was back up running, no noise.Left it run for some time checked all ports and working great. It has a three year warranty, this last PSU was over 5 years old in a top end machine. ( I know how could they say it was a top end with a 250w power supply that is because it was designed for business and now is converted for gaming. I need a upgraded video card and this power supply will take care of that easily for me.My old PSU didnt die, but notices some BSOD that seemed connected to power drops with kernal issues.I have been amazed over the years that many many box store and pre-made CPU's are powered by low watt or low quality PSU's.The reviews seems good and hopefully this runs well for awhile .EVGA, warranty of three years should be a comfort for many as in this day of age el3ectronics are built iffy at times.I will give an update if it changes how its performing.

I've owned this PSU for a while now. It was apart of my old system and transferred to my new one. My old system had a motherboard issue and was a headache to figure out. I bought this PSU to make sure my old system didn't have a power issue. In the end it was time to build a new system, so I bought new motherboard, cpu and ram. Issues are gone now.The plug and play factor is that it worked flawlessly. The fan is barely noticeable compared to my case fans. You would have to look at the fan to see that it's spinning to know that it is working. At the time of purchase the price was good for the watt rating and the 80+ Bronze efficiency. I can overclock on my new system without worrying about power delivery. The only thing I have to worry about is if I wanted to run Crossfire or SLI. I have to make sure the gpu cards I choose and total system power draw all fit within the 500w limit or I'll have to upgrade. Other then that I should be goodThis doesn't RGB lights or anything, so if your hoping for that look at a different one. It's more like a stealth look, all blacked out. You might forget it's there if you have an all black case and remove the decals.Only con is that it's not a 80+ titanium. Just kidding lol

Here is my story...I was having issues with my computer. I would turn it on, the tower would work, but the screen would just lose power. It would just go blank! But why? My tower is still on and running.I called EVGA about this, because I thought it was my graphics card. He told me to check my power supply unit (PSU), and said it needed to be replaced. I was hesitant, but desperate. I purchased this product. He told me it was relatively cheap, and go for the high supply because its only like 20 bucks more. He said its an easy investment, because even if I get a new PC, I can put this baby in that.I installed this, and it worked! My monitor does not lose connection any more. My computer even runs better and much more quiet. If you need a PSU, please buy this one. If it is too much, just buy a EVGA model. The reason is that the warranty is amazing. The products work with no trouble. And their costumer service techs are beyond amazing. I call in, and they know what to do. They get me in, and get me out fast enough so I don't have to waste all day with computer stuff. Believe me, I have wasted entire days talking to techs who don't even speak English and ramble on and on. This techs speak English well and actually have attractive voices, if you like that kind of thing ;)

My wife was using the computer, heard a "pop" and the computer quit. A quick Google search revealed it was very likely that my original 350 watt power supply on my Dell XPS Studio desktop that I bought in 2010 had died. I could only hope that it didn't take my motherboard with it. I researched Power Supplies on Amazon and you can get one for as low as $19 or pay over $100. I wanted something really reliable. The reviews on EVGA constantly mentioned the 24/7 tech support. I settled on the EVGA 500 B1, 80+ BRONZE 500W Power Supply. It was $5 more than the 80+ White, and $10 more than the 450W 80+ Bronze. (Frankly, I would have bought that one, but the estimated arrival time was 2 weeks, versus overnight for this one). All three feature a 3-year warranty, quiet fan, and plenty of plugs. The 500W have even more plugs than the 450W. The Bronze series features a power supply that is 85% efficient versus 80% on the other two. All good. The new power supply did indeed arrive overnight. My dog and the power supply were both waiting for me when I got home from work. I unplugged the computer, attached my anti-static wristband, removed the old power supply, attached the new power supply, closed up the case and... nothing!Wait, what? I opened it back up, made sure all the connections were secure, and tried again. Nothing.I put in a call to EVGA Tech Support. I was talking to a tech guy within 5 minutes. We troubleshot the setup. At one point the tech said to make sure the CPU connector was attached to the motherboard. Thankfully that cord is labeled. I had connected the PCI cable to the motherboard in error. Once I corrected this bit of stupidity, the computer came back to life, my wife praised my genius (since she had her computer back within 24 hours), and my dog was oblivious. The ability to quickly access good tech support, plus the quality of the power supply, is why I am a happy camper and will recommend EVGA power supplies.
