Review for Rosewill 700W Glacier Bronze PSU. Another Great product from Rosewill - Works Perfectly as it should with Plenty of Power for MY Gaming System!1st. I had to buy this as a get-by unit until my previous PSU was replaced under warranty. (also a Rosewill - less than 1 year of use) The RMA process was painless, the PSU was replaced (did cost return shipping of defective unit) with no hassles whatsoever from Rosewill support. I would commend Rosewill on their outstanding warranty and replacement process and would Recommend their products as I have always gotten great products and service from them in the past.That being stated, This PSU performs perfectly as well (used about a month so far) with No sound from the fan at all, and No under voltage problems - even with a RTX2070.It is nice that it is Modular, so you can only use the cords you need with out a big clutter of unused cables in your case. (although it does NOT include the typical zippered bag to keep the unused cables in but :-/ )It powers my system exactly as it should. Enough in fact, I am going to leave it in for the time being as it works so well, and just save my replacement one for future backup purposes if needed.The Glacier series looks very nice with the white fan on all black casing.The wiring have a braided covering that tends to hide the wires a bit better than a lot of colored wires.It is easy to install and comes with everything needed to install it, including mounting screws, cable ties and even a power cord.This would be a recommended product IMO. It works great for me and my needs.

It is not really easy writing a review on a power supply, but this one might be the exception. It is the classiest power supply I have ever seen. Inside the box was a zippered case that held all the cables that went with the power supply. Really, a case, who does that? It really is an awesome thing. Each cable attaches and disconnects individually, so you only install the cables that you need for your system, and leave the rest in your case (Did I mention the case is really cool?). So, you don't get a big bundle of cables that you don't need.The power supply is really quiet. Basically silent in my setup. I can't hear anything. It might be my case, but even still, the thing is really awesome when it comes to the fan. I have a 4GHZ system, I have the Nvidia GTX1080, DDR3 RAM, M.2 flash drive, water cooler for the CPU, etc. This power supply has no trouble with my setup. I was worried that I needed 1000 watt+ supply, but this 750 Watt handles it without issue.It really seems to be the Cadillac of power supplies. (That is meant to be a good thing)Pros: Nearly silent, if not completely silent (at least in my setup). Individual cables connect and disconnect, so you only use the cables that you need. It comes with a case to hold the unused cables, and has several of every type of cable I have ever seen or imagined. You will have all the cables you need with this, that's for sure.Cons: I haven't found a con yet, this is an awesome supply, really classy.

Bought the 650W version at $60. Been owning it for 3 weeks for my first pc build. So far its been doing great. Good amps. Semi modular. Cable are black and non-sleeved so what I did was split every wire from one another so I could rearrange it to form a bundle using some twisty cables. Made cable management look much better and cables much easier to bend it those tight spaces. Fan is quiet, my case fans are definitely louder. Its got those things that protects your parts from over temps/power/volts so its all good in the hood.Definitely no SLI on modern graphics card on this one. It's only got 2x 6+2 PCI pins. Do not get this PSU if the thought of going SLI/Crossfire is tempting you. Even if you are not sure you will do it. Before building my first rig, I was uncertain if I will SLI 2 970. Ulitimately said no to SLI since 970's were out of stock everywhere and dual GPUS is a bit out of my budget.Now that my build is finished, and my wallet had recovered from the devastation caused by building a PC from scratch . I now want to go dual GPU's and upgrade my cpu to i7. Only thing holding me back is that a new 970 + 4790k + a beefier PSU is almost the cost of my current rig. So yep. Those tips that says "Do not skimp on PSU." are so right. Always give a headroom for a potential PC part upgrade even if you are not certain to upgrade or not. BEcause going cheap now with the thought of upgrading later is more expensive than going the the best / most reasonable priced for you today.

Had to replace my Corsair CX450m because of a ticking fan and was looking for a low cost replacement that would be give me a little more headroom but still be modular. My cx450m still works fine but I'm running a few drives and a 1060 and was a little worried about the load, plus the fan developed a loud ticking sound. When it first started a little tap of my case was all it took to go silent again, but now the sound won't go away. Voltages never wavered, never gave me any supply issues or shutdowns, but just made me uneasy. I couldn't be without my setup during the RMA process so I bought this. I've used Rosewill products in the past without much issue. For my use it works fine. Heavy, seams well built. I still don't see why supply companies are still doing a 20+4 on a main board connector as I really don't see anyone ever using these new of supply's on old 20 pin boards, but thats just me. My setup only required one of the sata cables, and the pci express. Happy that there sleeved, but most modular cables are. Everything works fine. Probably keep my cx as a backup or a test station psu when I get it the replacement from corsair.
