Great compact PSU. I would buy this again if I build another Mini-ITX form computer. This fit perfectly in the Silverstone case I got to go with it. It has plenty of power to run my i5 4690k with GTX-970 GPU. It's also great because it's fully modular and comes with the flexi flat cables which make building in a SFF enclosure much easier than the other braided cover types. I also bought a 430W SFX PSU which is a step down from this, but it's so close in price for less power and you get the standard cables. I have no complaints about either one and highly recommend both. They are super quiet and have more than enough power to run even an above average power gaming rig.

This is one of the most awesome power supply's I've ever bought. In fact, I want Silverstone to make a bigger (more power) one in the same case. I had to replace a 400W flakey p.o.s. that would crash every time I put the CPU under a little load. This PS was half the size of the one I replaced in a tight Lian-Li case. Now, plenty of room to spare, and has never crashed (due to automatic motherboard protection) under heavy loads. While other vendors offer higher watts, good luck finding a retailer that has any in stock. I wish more vendors would realize smaller is better, and retailers carry what they show. I am glad Silverstone offered a new model just when I needed it (Sept '14), and I am glad Amazon allowed me to pre-order. Compliments to both companies for fulfilling a need at a great time - maybe lucky timing, but it all worked out well for my investment.

Bad experience with this 600 watt power supply. I like to run small powerful but silent gaming PC's. I got this unit to power a I7 8700k and an MSI GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X in the Cougar QBX case. My system was very quiet until I launch a game to play. Immediately the power supply fan would ramp up to the max which is really loud and annoying. I put up with it just to see how long this power supply would last under full CPU and GPU load. No surprise to me that the power supply only lasted a week before it completely died. If you're looking for an SFX power supply stay away from this one. I replaced it with the Corsair SF600 and not only does it handle the full load non stop for days it is silent while doing it. Also all of my components are running a lot cooler with out this power supply in the case.

This PSU performs great and the compact size makes installing it into a compact mini-itx case a breeze. The PSU has very audible coil whine when under load and gets somewhat worse after extended periods of time. The noise is loud enough to not only be noticeable, but also very annoying. The unit seems to be built well enough except for whatever is making the buzzing sound.
