Plenty of clean power and cool decorative RGB LEDs in this 850 watt power-supply.

I bought this for my high end gaming system after the upgrade to an RTX-3070 that taxed the 650 w version of this supply. Powers everything quiet and clean. System installed into: i9-10850K oc'd to 5.2g and RT-3070 8gvram.Pros: Great connector assortment, including the cables ability to be easily removed if not needed (power unit has receptacles for each cable), robustly capable of delivering continuous power even during surged requirementsCons: massive cable mess while installing but that is typical of all supplies of quality.

This Gold PSU works well and efficient and the RGB, makes you're case look less boring. I have no complaints about it.

The power supply looks great but that's about it. I installed the power supply on a brand new build. No fan running or RGB lights. Pretty much dead for the most part. The unit must be sending a small trickle because the led lights (Asrock x570 Taichi) on the motherboard were flashing but that's about it. I hope this issue of not working correctly didn't ruin the motherboard and the new CPU (AMD Rysen 9 3900x) because "brown-outs" aren't very kind to electronics. Initiated an online chat with Amazon customer support (the first thing they asked was if the power supply was plugged in, crazy huh?). They were very cooperative and sympathetic. They tried to reach out to Thermaltake with no success as Thermaltake holds regular hours (Mon - Fri). Will update as we go. We will see about that 10 year warranty.
