Received this monitor thru the USPS in good condition - boxed really well. The monitor's base was very easy to install and frankly is a solid base to me. The monitor has a nice up - down tilt to it which works good on my desktop. I was not sure about the curve this monitor has but after a couple of hours use I like it. I checked the monitor for dead pixels or color problems which there is none, also there is no uneven lighting problems around the edges.I added some pictures but they don't do justice to it 4K video abilities. This monitor looks very good in 4K.I am using this monitor in its native resolution at 144Hz driven by my MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Gaming X 8G Graphics Card and it works perfect - no tearing at all just great viewing. I find this monitor with my graphics card to be very fast and responsive. The only down side to this monitor is its brightness at only 250 Nits, so a true 4K display its not but it sure looks good. This in my own opinion is a great monitor and a great price. If it last and has no repair problems then I will have a real winner.Very satisfied and would recommend for a great buy.

We did a lot of research when we decided to upgrade our monitors. So many things to consider and trying to do your research all online can kind of make your head spin! This model didn't have a lot of reviews yet, but really seemed to hit the sweet spot between features and price so we went ahead and took and chance and couldn't be happier! The screen is HUGE (coming from a 24-inch) and the color settings out of the box are workable to start, although you can tweak them to your liking. No speakers but I almost consider that a plus, since I've never had a monitor with speakers that sounded better than a kid's walkie-talkie. Cannot comment on the Freesync because we don't have the right graphic cards for it.You can do a quick search to find and install Acer's display widget, which is very nice in that it allows you to change settings on the desktop and includes the option to have different display settings for different programs or games. It also has a built-in split screen setup with several layouts to choose from. That's very handy and with a monitor this size, I use it a lot to multitask. But even if you don't get the widget, this is probably the first monitor I've owned where the controls do not want to make me pull my hair out. There is a little joystick on the back and it works just as you'd expect it to work. You push in to activate it or select, and you push up, left or right and the option selection moves the same. It's a simple thing but it's really nice to have controls that are intuitive.I've never had a curved screen, but it's very nice. Between the size, higher refresh rate and the curve, games are VERY immersive and we are enjoying the games we've been playing more than ever because we're seeing a higher level of detail and you really feel like you're in the game as opposed to watching the game on a screen. The only design complaint was the way the cables go in when you set up is very awkward. This is, however, a one-time frustration and not a daily issue, so it's easy enough to overlook.I would not hesitate to recommend this monitor to anyone. We love ours!!

Pros:- Arrived earlier than expected- Packaging was simple and protective- Easy to assemble stand and mount to monitor- Works as expected out of the box - resolution and refresh rate- Includes Display Port cableCons:- No instructions included for stand assembly- Not sure if or how to adjust vertical height on standOverall, this was a great deal for a great monitor. Once hooked up to my PC, it was automatically set to the correct resolution and refresh rate. No dead pixels, no defects or imperfections on arrival. Everything looks great! The only downside to this purchase is lack of directions - particularly some documentation or pictures should be included showing how to attach the stand to the back of the monitor. This is very simple to do, and only took me a few seconds to figure out.. however others might not have the intuition I had when assembling.

Pros:- It's large. Super immersive for gaming just by the size alone. My 24" monitors look puny in comparison.- Great value. I wanted 1440p, 120Hz+, VA or IPS panel, 27"+ for a reasonable price. This checked all the boxes and more. It might not be quite as nice as a $500+ monitor, but it's certainly good for its price.- Curve is nice. I forget it's curved when I sit down in front of it.- The pixel density is about the same as the 24" 1080p monitor on my desk right next to it, so I don't have to deal with scaling issues.- Pixel response times are very good. There's practically zero noticeable ghosting.Cons:- It took a lot of work to get the white balance right. I messed around with the OSD for a bit and just couldn't seem to get it there. I ended up using the Windows color calibration tool. I ended up turning the blue down considerably and turning the red down slightly.- The black boost is terrible. Turn it off! It's on by default. It makes everything washed out. I was really starting to regret my purchase until I discovered this setting.- It seems like I have to choose between having blacks blur together or having whites washed out. I went for the better contract on bright colors.- The stand is kinda flimsy, but I didn't expect much. At least it has a vesa mount.
