This monitor absolutely destroys the vg248qe. I own both and this one has significantly better colors out of the box, good viewing angles for a tn panel, phenomenal build quality and overall just everything you could possibly need in a 144hz monitor. Highly recommended.

Ok so I have never seen a 144hz monitor and I must say it’s buttery smooth, and this monitor is amazing for it, the monitors built in menu is so easy to use thanks to the little joy stick in the back. The built in speakers aren’t terrible but I would recommend getting a set of speakers, I personally use headphones so I really never use the speakers also I have heard some people complain about the picture quality for content but if your looking for content creation why are you buying this monitor, go for a ips with better colors, I personally can’t tell any difference so they look fine to me over all I think this monitor is amazing for what you get

Shipping and receipt:I haven't noticed any manufacturing defects, etc. Grim this product. It came packed very well in a properly sized box and in an extremely tough air pillow bag.Product:The default image settings are really garbage - really washed out and too bright. It takes quite a bit of menu tweaking but you can get a decent picture. The colors are still a little "off" compared to my newer Asus monitor but I use it as a second monitor.The base is solid and comparable to my other monitor except for the Asus branding differences. Install was fast. The base is solid.The screen can be rotated on any axis, which is a plus.
