Monitor arrived without any dead-pixels or display / performance issues. Like most TN's it runs a tiny bit bright, but after a little tinkering I feel it is an excellent entry-level 240hz panel and am happy with my purchase. Felt like leaving some of my thoughts since I didn't find a lot of in-depth info about this monitor before purchasing so read on if you care:- The stand is obnoxious so I would recommend mounting it. The black VESA screws provided with the monitor are actually spacers to allow standard mounts to fit. You must screw the spacers in first then use your own VESA screws to secure it. Works as expected on my dual monitor stand. The bezels could be a little smaller but they don't hinder usage at all and that's simply an aesthetics point.- The 23.8" size factor slightly increases the pixel density and it's noticeable in a sharper / more clear image vs. my similar 24" monitor, however out-of-the-box calibration / colors were very lackluster in my opinion. I spent a long time adjusting it and think I got a very good picture vs. what settings I found on Google. I will give my settings at the bottom.- Only small issue I had with refresh rate was Windows setting it to 200hz on first plug-in. For some reason the option for 240hz wasn't available so I had to go into the NVCP to set it to the proper 240hz which wasn't too big of a deal but if you're not paying attention you might not notice. Monitor works flawlessly at the refresh rates I tried (200/240) and alongside G-Sync I found no tearing, visual artifacts or performance issues. The response time feels equivalent to my other true 1-3ms TN panel while playing high-level competitive FPS. I definitely notice an improvement in image fluidity vs. 144hz and feel the lower frame times / clearer on-screen movement improve my game play in the heat of the moment. This monitor is perfect for FPS games like CSGO, Quake, R6, Valorant etc. 240hz over 144hz is the way to go if you're trying to reach the upper echelons of MMR.- ELMB worked great however my graphics card doesn't have the ability to use it to its full potential in all the games I play so I stuck with G-Sync. For the few games I was able to use it, I experienced the smoothest in-game movement I've ever seen. I didn't see any noticeable strobing or malformations unless my frames would drop which is to be expected. I would highly recommend using it if you have a faster rig than mine, and this monitor supports ELMB all the way up to 240hz which is nice.- The OSD is very pleasant to use with the little thumb-stick on the back of the monitor, the menus are all self-explanatory and have everything you would expect to get a great picture. Lets you save up to 5 different settings profiles which is nice because I do a lot of late night browsing and like a dimmer screen for that. The included image presets are just okay, with racing/fps being the winners to me for being the ones you can adjust to a semi-decent picture (User mode is the way to go). The blue light filter works nice for late-night browsing, and the overdrive setting seems to work best for me staying at the default (3).- My image settings may not look as good to you as they do to me, a lot of factors come into play while viewing a monitor such as light sources in the room and viewing angle / distance. Also these settings without the Windows display calibration at the end have a slight problem with the gamma, but it's passable. Highly recommend following the steps after the OSD settings to fix it. Hopefully it will look good for you, or at least give you a decent place to start making your own settings using the LCD Test on the website lagom.nlUser ModeBlue-Light Filter: 0Brightness: 65 (change if need)Contrast: 80 (change if need)Saturation: 50*RBG values can be tinkered with depending on reference pics/wallpapers you look at using your own opinionRed: 41Green: 34Blue: 43Gamma: 2.2OD: 3ELMB: Off / G-Sync ON (ELMB will mess up the brightness value and require more tuning, but can be fixed)After this hit the Windows key and type "calibrate display color", run it and follow the directions. I used this tool specifically to fix the gamma (couldn't figure it out the old-fashioned way) and think it really did the trick in putting the final touches on the image quality. You can also run "adjust cleartype text" and follow those directions for the hell of it too.TL;DR: I would recommend this monitor specifically to gamers looking to get a competitive edge at high levels of play. If you're a person who doesn't take games way too seriously for their own good, I would say save the money and get a 144hz 1ms monitor because they are very cheap nowadays. But if money isn't an issue, 240hz will look and perform better than 144hz every time and this monitor proved that for me.

Surprisingly good picture quality for a TN panel. Much better than the 27" 144hz Dell TN panel I used previously. There's some vertical banding you can notice if you are using a solid colored background, but this is typical of all TN panels. In games and when using the internet or watching movies it is not noticeable. The XG248Q is very responsive and feels very fluid with the automatically enabled gsync compatible variable refresh rate. The monitor very seamlessly adjusts its refresh rate to match my graphic cards (2080 Ti's) output. The price is outstanding for a 240hz panel as well, which is an even bigger consideration if you are using them in a dual panel setup like I am. The ELMB is an interesting feature, but you can only use it or the adaptive refresh rate (freesync/gsync) not both. IMO, you are better off with the adaptive refresh rate unless you are playing something where you are at 240hz all of the time. While you can use ELMB at 144hz, I feel the monitor's motion is better at 240hz than at 144hz w ELMB. ELMB also reduces the brightness of the panel, which can make using the feature a non-starter for some.TL;DR For the price this is an excellent 240hz gsync compatible monitor which has surprisingly good picture quality.

I knew what I was buying when I bought this Monitor, I did plenty of research... and this seemed to be the best value 240hz monitor I could find. Now that I have it? I love it!! The ELMB (Extreme Low Motion Blur) setting works great, and everything is buttery smooth. Games/Colors look great and it has tons of features. To those who are curious about VESA Mounts... YES! This monitor does work with a 100mm VESA mount. I have mine on a desk mount, you just pop off part of the ring on the back with a flat head screwdriver, and then pop out the rest of it to reveal 4 screws. Just unscrew those 4 screws to remove the base, and then use the 4 provided black screw hole extensions to extend those 4 screw holes out of the ring so the mount can fit it.

Amazing monitor. Very impressed.Crazy low lag, g-sync works perfectly as well as 240hz. Image quality is definitely not as bad as people are saying in some comments. You just gotta tweak it on your graphics card control panel. No complaints so far, great product and solid structure.
