This thing is top-of-the-line. For starters, the 24.5 inches is HUGE in person. It actually takes up a good portion of my desk. Additionally, the G-SYNC and 240 hz are both noticeable. From the moment you turn this thing on, everything just looks and feels different. The assembly is relatively easy and none of the parts are cheap. In fact, the monitor is fully adjustable. You can twist, turn, raise and lower it as much as you like and it honestly feels nice.In terms of the picture quality, it only takes a few moments of adjustment to get the high-quality display that you're advertised. It comes with a small remote that hooks into a USB port on the monitor and allows you to switch between profiles on the fly. On my previous monitor, I was working with Kvoraak's Aim Trainer and found my perfect sensitivity. Moving to a significantly bigger monitor, I was able to keep that sensitivity, so that was nice. The 1920x1080 resolution and size helps to make games feel bigger and more immersive and it's great at my job as well. I work as a tech support and the quality of life difference this monitor makes is huge. Also, in terms of gaming, you not only notice the 240hz refresh rate but also the black equalizer. As soon as I bought this monitor, I hopped into a game of Rainbow Six (which I'm usually not very good at) and dropped a 9 kill game, then I finished out as MVP. And I never do that -- I'm usually 0-4 and I started gaming on PC like several months ago after being a lifetime console guy! I do believe this monitor makes a noticeable impact on your performance and it's REALLY easy to see people in dark spaces and weird angles (trust me, you learn this in R6 more than any other game).Overall, I'm incredibly happy with this thing and wouldn't trade it for the world.

Something special about this monitor. I just love it, just the right screen size at 24.5", color on most videos above acceptable to even quite nice, super fast action, no lag. The quality of build is very impressive. I have nothing bad to say about this monitor. I would recommend setting the color while your in your actual game, not in the videos that come on while the game is loading. That's 2 different things. Once I set Battlefield V in the actual game play, I know it's right. Just my 2 cents. This monitor is a very unique experience and it's a very reasonable price for the results. I am not sponsored or reviewing for anyone but myself, I bought and paid for this out of my own pocket on Amazon who was awesome as usual. I love gaming on this monitor, I have other monitors for my work and videos, this is all about gaming for me. It's 1080p which is the most basic resolution and so it provides far less lag on any gaming system or console. The 24.5" screen is plenty of space for gaining an edge, any larger and your eyes start to wander, at least for me. I love, love, love this monitor, the flaps are simply the icing on the cake, the basic design and fingerprint resistant finish is amazing, the carbon fiber looking real side looks simple and shouts quality and longevity. There are 2 HDMI ports for my PS4 Pro and XBOX ONE X, do I love gaming, that's a sever understatement, I will invest whatever it takes to improve the gaming experience. This one checks all the boxes for me. Again, it's one of my 3 monitors, each one is different, it's all about the mood, but, I can't put this aside, it just feels right. I'm pumped, back to the Battlefield ladies and gentlemen, that's where all the fun and action is. Great Job Benq and Amazon, the ZOWIE XL2540,, this isn't about the absolute best colors, it's about getting in the game and having the best chance to excel. Again, absolutely love this monitor just the way it is, convenient, durable as all get out and faster than a banshee.

Honestly, you don't need gsync with this refresh rate as even at lower fps the tearing is almost non-existent. It's refreshing.Colors are better than I thought they'd be, not terrible for a tn. (No colorimeter on hand, but it's certainly not an eyesore)If you have the fps to saturate this display, the higher refresh rate is a huge boon to any fps gamer. The smoothness increase is so strong that even when you focus on them, it's very hard to see the frame updates anymore, and the image is almost looking like movement in real life. Sure, it can always get better with higher refresh, but this is definitely very close to the upper limit of diminishing returns. 240hz is the new 120hz.The usual suite of benq options like black equalizer, color vibrance, and low blue light come with the monitor. The shields are a bit gimmicky, but I guess they theoretically could help with distractions. There's very little ghosting if any at all that is noticeable, even when looking for it. Every once in awhile I noticed it for fast moving images with small changes between light blue and other shades of blue. It was pretty rare, and in a small portion of the color range, so it's not a big deal. Overall pretty impressive considering the refresh rate.I have no way to measure input lag, but comparing my in-game feeling of it to my last monitor, an Acer XB270HU, I noticed very little change, if any. If nothing else, that should mean you won't likely notice input lag issues if you get this monitor. The price is a bit steep, but the main selling point, 240 hz is worth it if you have a system that can get fps high enough in the games you play. More likely than not, this will require you to spend more than the initial cost, building your system up around this monitor. But, if you want the smoothest gaming experience in games like overwatch, csgo, lol, and other well-optimized games, this monitor does just that.
