OK let me start off by throwing this out there. A 240hz monitor will not make you a pro. It indeed will not benefit you whatsoever if you do not have the skill set already in the gaming industry when it comes to FPS type games etc. What do I mean by this? Well for example these monitors are only beneficial to give you that split millisecond response time. When in competitive gaming those milliseconds are crucial to life or death in the game.A few things to point out before you buy this type of monitor:1. If you lack reaction time this monitor will not help you gain the edge over your opponents.2. If you lack understanding on a good gaming rig/gaming build you may be hurting in the end with your own rig.3. Frames are only beneficial if the game you are playing is outputting more than 144 frames per second IE: CSGO or PUBG or Fortnite, etc. With that said here is where why buying a 240hz will greatly benefit you! Those milliseconds will have you win the fight because this monitor will output those frames on time before another player that is running probably a 144hz or a 120 or less. If you are serious about competitive this monitor is for you!Pros: This monitor has a great tilt and feel to it. It is very rugged and heavy duty. The monitors 1 ms blur reduction is SO CRUCIAL to FPS games! Again IT IS CRUCIAL and this monitor is great for that job! Another thing to point out is understanding HDMI 2.0 or Display port. I feel a display port will do the job just as much as HDMI 2.0. Keep in mind that again this gaming monitor is for those that are serious about competing. What comes in the box is even more beautiful. They package this monitor with ease and make sure you get everything you need right out the box.Pricing:A side note to notice here: FREESYNC and G-SYNC is like the thing everyone talks about? But let me remind you what happens if you run those settings...DROP FRAMES if you are competing again! So why buy a G-Sync monitor when you need every bit of frames to compete? This monitor is honestly beyond great for its price! I have no idea how or why its in the 300's but dude BUY IT over any 240hz monitor if you have the chance to get it, also did I mention its a 27 inch?!Cons: Personally I do not like the fact when you have 1 ms Blur Reduction turned on for FPS games it dims the brightness to a significant amount. Yeah I get that it needs to be done but there has to be a work around for that! That is pretty much what I find disturbing about the monitor.Overall though, this monitor gets a 5 out of 5 because of how reliable it is for competing and the price itself and the fact it is a 240hz blows my mind!

The media could not be loaded. Jan 2019 UPDATE: Now GSYNC compatible! This review is for the LG 27gk750f-b monitor. I purchased this monitor as an open box special and couldn't be any more pleased about it. The TN panel doesn't have any color banding that I can spot and the colors are certainly vibrant enough for me (I am a portrait and landscape photographer so I feel that I can recognize passable color when I see it). There is slightly uneven light bleed when the screen displays a dark, black image - but I do not notice it during gameplay. 240hz with 1ms reduction looks and feels fantastic when playing Fortnite and Blackout. The stand feels extremely sturdy and well-built. The outer casing material feels great with a matte finish, and I don't mind the subltle red accent markings on the stand, or the red-accented circular design on the back (and I really dislike flashy game-y accessories). I love the fact that it is height adjustable, rotates, pivots, and tilts. I wish the bezels were thinner but with everything else that it offers, I can't complain.I use an NVidia 1080 ti GPU in conjunction with this monitor and since NVidias GSYNC compatibility update, I can now take advantage of variable refresh rates (VRR). I haven't noticed any tearing on games that run 110 fps all the way up to 300+ fps. As for GtG response times, I did a "mirror display" comparision of this monitor (1ms) to my secondary LG 4k IPS (LG 27UD68P) display, which is 5ms GtG, and I did notice a slight delay during fast action moments of FPS shooters. It might only be a matter of milliseconds but I can definitely see how the 1ms response time is just another reason why a competitive player would need it. I've been extremely happy with this display.

Its been almost 5 years since I bought this monitor back in 2019...It still runs like beast, no bleed, no dead pixel and still able to game at 240 hz on 1440p with no issues. Not a single complaint for this monitor. All buttons are working, picture quality is quite good and not bad at all. And the adjustable stand still holds up the monitor like its nothing.Best monitor i ever owned so far.

I have no complaints on the quality, however it is notable that the inputs from hdmi 1-2 and DP will not automatically switch when you turn on a different device connected to it. This can be a little irritating for someone like me who has consoles connected to it. My fix is just having all of my consoles connected to one 3 way hdmi splitter and connecting that splitter into hdmi port 1
