A little back story. I am new to PC gaming and the improvement that was most important to me was frame rate. My current monitor is only gets 60 hertz so I bought a high refresh rate monitor. Within 10 seconds of using that monitor I was instantly turned off for the very poor colors. I realized color was more important than frame rate to me. Then I learned that my old monitor was an IPS (which gives better color) and I had ordered a TN monitor, which has worse colors than an IPS.This monitor was the perfect fit for me. 1080p at 24 inches which is the sweet spot to resolution and screen size and it is an IPS with G-SYCH technology. When I turned on this MSI monitor, I instantly loved the colors. I believe it is 99% SRGB. The colors aren't quite as natural as my old ASUS Pro Art IPS, but they are very very good and a calibration may make it even better.Everything else about the monitor is great, it has a sturdy square base, a lot of ability to customize and the frame rates are buttery smooth. I would say this is absolutely a 5 star monitor for this resolution, color, size and price. Truly amazing.Here is the deal, I might end up sending it back for a larger monitor with more resolution and less hertz. I notice a difference in playing between 60 and 120 FPS but it is not ground breaking and I might honestly opt for a higher resolution monitor and compromise with between 90-120 hertz. This is a personal preference for me and something you might want to consider because I was prepared to be blown away by gaming at 140+ hertz and I wasn't. Sure... it is nice and smoother, but I think I would rather compromise a larger screen with higher resolution and keep my FPS at around 90.Just to reiterate, 24inches is a great size to game on, I would just rather go a little largerStill, this is an absolutely stellar monitor and I would recommend you buy it

I have been searching for this monitor for years. I have been wanting to upgrade my 144hz predator for years now, but have been holding out until a new quality monitor was released. Finally 2020 comes around and there are many good deals and what appear to be top of the line 240hz monitors, so I decide "why not, I need a new one anyway." So I purchased one for $500 and was created by multiple dead pixels, and interlacing artifacts. This was a common trend for the next 4 monitors I ordered and returned. This monitor however is perfect to say the least. It is IPS so you have good colors and viewing angles. It's 240hz so everything is very smooth. And it has gsync which eliminates the tearing. It's 24 inches which is the perfect size for 1080p. The only con is the IPS glow. This is just simply unavoidable with IPS so this con is very minor. It's not even that bad on this monitor, not at all. Buy this if you can.

Having 240hz refresh, response rate with g sync compatible and IPS panel has been wonderful for gaming. The size is perfect for 1080p and the extra fps running at 1080p is a nice bonus over 1440p or 4k. Very happy with the build quality and menu system and controls are very easy to use compared to other brands I have used. The brightness and contrast compared to TN panel is a big step up. 5 stars.

I think this is one of the best buys at this time. The future is changing and 4k hdmi 2.1 monitors will roll out but for now I believe this to be one of the best monitors that is available for any price point. The fact that it is super affordable is even better.Some of the best colors I have seen, no form of lag of any kind, viewable from even the sides. I had a great monitor... So I thought. This thing is perfect for fast refresh gaming.
